
Merle Thordis enlivens the interdisciplinary field of music and movement and works as a freelance artist in the field of dance, music/vocal, performance, choreography and pedagogy. They studied eurhythmics/music and movement (B.A.) at the University of the Arts Berlin and at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. Since 2024, Merle has been studying Jazz vocals at the Institute of Music in Osnabrück.
Since 1998 Merle has been performing dance, music, in theater video projects.
In collaboration with other international artists they regularly develops creations in the transdisciplinary field of music/sound, speech, dance, and video with respect to cultural, sociological and political topics.
